Today was a rough day all around,I had a training at my school and in the middle of that I received a text that my grandfather was attacked by 2 dogs.  He broke his hip, femur and elbow which is just really brutal.  I was able to go up to the hospital and see him which was helpful, I wanted to be as supportive as possible.
I did workout today and that helped me to feel better all around as well, endorphins make me feel GOOOOD. I am trying to put positive thoughts out in the world for my popo, he has surgery tomorrow bright and early.

Yesterday I had an amazing workout that made me so buff it was ridiculous, then I went and had a VERY healthy lunch and a medium healthy dinner. All in all not too shabby!

Today is my Dirty Thirty, I know I look so young ;) I will be having a healthy salad for lunch and a huge cup of coffee for breakfast, to get me through a long training day at work. I was saying on twitter that on this day I feel very fit, maybe the fittest I have been in 10 years and that is a great feeling. Go Kristen!
I am hoping to get in a workout before my birthday dinner but it will be close!
On another note SB and TK came back from the longest vacation ever and I was thrilled to see both of them, welcome home ladies! :)

Well it is back to school for me, back to the grind and I am not thrilled. Luckily this weekend was really restful and I slept tons!
I am getting into a new routine of working out in the evenings instead of the morning, the good news is I am much better about my eating in the school year! That is one thing that does get easier for me and hopefully I can use that to my advantage to get healthy! This week is my birthday so my eating may not be great....

It is officially the last day of summer for me, back to work tomorrow. I am crying on the inside, this summer has been eye opening and restful, best summer in a very long time!

Last night we went to Komali in Dallas and the food/drink was fantastic, this was our second time to dine here. We started with some queso fundido and a tres berry margarita(GREAT), followed by a lovely thin steak and enchilada. I know this was not the most healthy meal but it was worth every fatty calorie in it. I did run (to the car because it was raining cats and dogs) so that might have burned off a churro I had for dessert! The tres leches cake (posted on the left) was James dessert, I did not try it, but he said it was tasty.

Immediatly after taking this picture I started to choke on my coffee, thought it was going to be my last sip #FOREVER!!

Yesterday ended well with my eating, my dinner was vegetarian and I had one glass of red wine for my heart, want to keep it healthy :)
This morning I had two eggs, wheat toast and 2 pieces of bacon. I enjoyed every bite of it.  We are staying Dallas at the Hilton Anatole which has limited options so I also brought a Protein shake. I am trying to set my self up for success.

 
So yesterday really did not go as planned, I did not cook dinner:(, I think I am in a RUT! Good gracious it is not that hard to get some healthy food into my house. I have had a few rough days but I slept in this morning and am in a much better mood today. I did not make it to Beyond Fit this morning but I have been working out everyday these past few weeks and I think my body was telling me to take it down, so I tried to listen.
James and I are headed to Dallas this afternoon where I will get some me time before going back to work on Monday....WAH WAH
 
Workout repeat! I did some excellent Cardio and Core with Beyond Fit this morning which helped to jump start the day. I also have a plan today, which I am hoping that will get me back on track before the weekend starts. First thing on the list is going to Central Market and getting some goodies for dinner tonight. Lets see how this plays out :)

LONG day...started with CPR at nearly freezing temperatures for 4 hours, followed by the fastest take out lunch that made my stomach hurt, clearly it was crap. I did have a nice early birthday dinner culminating in yogurt from yogurtland. In between all that I cleared out my tub drain which was the grosses thing you could imagine,barf and had a meeting with my architect.
Today is what happens when you do not plan and do not make time for healthy eating. But I did get in a good work out with Beyond Fit Austin and plan to workout in the morning.


This week has been pretty much for the lose all around.

    Today has been busy busy busy!! I had a wonderful dinner with my dad which involved lots of water and salad, there are times when I feel like a rabbit. After that I literally accomplished one hundred errands which I am very proud of.
Now I am not so proud of the fact that I went on and had 2 slices of pizza for dinner, and after last nights debauchery I should have done better. I am disappointed with myself today but luckily there is always tomorrow.
